Q. Who can rent Tax-Free cars?
Only persons with a permanent address outside Denmark can rent Tax-Free cars.

Some fields are not necessary to complete an Online booking.

Rental periode (If you don't have your flight# yet or you are not arriving by plane, please check the "Not arriving by plane" box next to the Flight # box).

Q. Are your prices all inclusive?
Our prices are TOTAL prices. There are no additional charges besides the gas you use. If you bring the car back with a full tank, you won't be charged for gas.

Q. Is insurance included?
The price you see is calculated with full insurance CDW/CDI (kasko) with 0 Kr deductible insurance (theft of personal items from the car is not covered).
The car is covered by Liability insurance according to Danish law, furthermore you have no liability for damage to the car when operating according to the rental agreement.

Q. Where do I pick up the car?
In Kastrup If you have selected Premium Personal Service you will be greeted by our  representative with a Dansk Auto Rent sign to the left, in front of the information desk when you have passed through customs. If you have selected Express Self Service please go directly to the Express Self Service counter when you have passed through customs.
In Billund, Esbjerg ,Karup ,Copenhagen City, Århus , Rønne and Sønderborg Just go to the Express Self Service counter in the Airport.

Q. Where and how do I drop off the car?
Just park your car at airport parking as specified on your rental agreement.

Q. What if I dont fill the car with gas when I bring it back?
We will charge your credit card for the Gas used.

Q. I arrive at 8:00 and depart at 16:00 will you charge me for a full day?
If there is more than 3 hours between designated pick-up and drop-off we will charge you for a full day.

Q. How and when do I pay?
We do not take your credit card information before you arrive unless you offer it.
However, if your pick-up location is Copenhagen Kastrup and you choose Express Self Service, your credit card information is required but your card will NOT be charged before pick-up.
We accept Cash, Check in DKK, Dankort, American Express, Visa and MasterCard (Cash and check require credit card for security). top

Q. How much do you charge for child seats?
All baby, child and booster seats are free. Please feel free to request them as we are concerned about the safety of all children who may be in your vehicle.

Q. Do I get charged for use of the mobile phone?
You may request a Mobile phone for 25kr with unlimited incoming calls from anywhere.
Airtime can be purchased at the time of booking or many other places like Gas Stations, Electronics Stores, Gas Stations, Post Offices and some ATMs.
Outgoing calls within Denmark costs 100kr for 40 minutes.
International calls are higher rates.

Q. Can I be sure to get the size car I booked?
Yes we guarantee that you will get the size car you booked or larger.

Q. Can I pick up the car other places than Kastrup?
Yes we do offer delivery/pickup In Billund, Esbjerg ,Karup ,Copenhagen City, Århus , Rønne and Sønderborg.

Q. What do I do in case of car trouble?
We have roadside assistance coverage on our fleet. If you have car trouble, please call our Toll-Free service number 80 20 50 10, or the emergency number located in the glove compartment of your rental car.

Q. What if I get a parking or speeding ticket?
If you get a parking ticket please pay it otherwise we have to charge you a 200Kr handling fee, if it is not paid by the due date and we receive a past due notice and a 250kr late fee applies.
If you don't have time to pay it, please leave it in the car and let us know. We will pay it for you and charge your credit card.
If we get notified by the police that you have been caught speeding in a photo trap we just turn over the Rental agreement to the police and in most cases it stops there (it is to complicated to try to collect outside Denmark).

Q. Do you offer discounts for long term rentals?
In most cases when rental exceeds 2 months a discount of 5-10% applies depending of type of car and time of year, get a quote at

Q. Can I take the car outside Denmark?
You can take the car to any country in western Europe. Countries you can not take the car to (but not limited to) are: Poland, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Albania, Turkey, Greece.
